TV on the Radio, Explosions in the Sky Set to Headline Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party

Thurston Moore, Ra Ra Riot, The Cave Singers Among Line Up

Seattle's Capitol Hill Block Party, which turns 15 years old this summer, released today a partial line up for its 2011 three-day fest. TV on the Radio and Explosions in the Sky are the highest bands on the bill, and joined by Thurston Moore, Ghostland Observatory, The Cave Singers, Battles, and Ra Ra Riot. Also noteworthy among the line up are Kurt Vile, Fucked Up, Telekinesis, Yuck, Cults, and Cold Cave. For a full list of announced musical acts, head here.

According to festival programmers, the complete line up will be published June 1. Now in its 15th year, Seattle's Capitol Hill Block Party will take over city streets from July 22 through the 24.
