The ever prolific Ty Segall released his second self-titled album back in January via Drag City, but lately he has been releasing some new standalone singles. Now he has announced a new album, Freedom’s Goblin, due for release on January 26, 2018 via Drag City. Segall announced the album on Conan last night, where he and his band performed the new song “Fanny Dog” (“this song’s about my dog Fanny” Segall deadpanned). Segall has also shared another track from the album, a cover of Hot Chocolate’s “Every 1’s a Winner.” Plus he has announced some tour dates. Below is the Conan performance, the Hot Chocolate cover, the album’s tracklist and cover art, and the tour dates.

The album includes the recently shared singles “Alta,” “Meaning,” “My Lady’s On Fire,” and “The Main Pretender.”
