The ever prolific Ty Segall released his second self-titled album back in January via Drag City, but lately he has been releasing some new standalone singles. Here’s another one, the retro rocking “The Main Pretender,” which features a great sax part by bandmate Mikal Cronin. A press release says that the song “aims to cull the herd by focusing its sights on a greatest common multiple of our society - people who just can’t see the forest for the head up their ass!” Check it out below, followed by Segall’s upcoming tour dates.
