U2 Share New Song Feat. Kendrick Lamar - “American Soul”
Songs of Experience Due Out December 1
Find It At: AMAZON
U2 are releasing a new album, Songs of Experience, on December 1. Now they have shared another song from it, "American Soul," which features Kendrick Lamar. It's essentially a rework of "XXX," a song on Lamar's DAMN. album from earlier this year that featured U2. Listen below.
"American Soul" follows the last song U2 shared from Songs of Experience, "Get Out of Your Own Way," which featured a spoken word verse from Lamar at the end.
Previously U2 also shared a lyric video for the album's first official single, "You're the Best Thing About Me," along with a video for the song. "You're the Best Thing About Me" followed two other Songs of Experience songs that the band have publically shared, both in a live setting. The band shared a live performance video for a new song, "The Blackout," which was filmed in front of a live audience of fans in Amsterdam, as well as later sharing the studio version for "The Blackout." Previously the band performed Songs of Experience track "The Little Things That Give You Away" on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The album will be the follow up to 2014's Songs of Innocence, which was originally given away for free.
