Video of Arcade Fire Covering Jay Reatard’s “Oh It’s Such a Shame”
The Suburbs Released Today
On the eve of the release of their third album, The Suburbs, Arcade Fire performed at the Mann Centre for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia. Along with playing tracks from the new album, Butler and Co. played a tribute to the late Jay Reatard, who died earlier this year at the age of 29, by covering the song "Oh It's Such a Shame." Below is footage of the performance filmed by a fan. The sound and image quality isn't top notch, but the band's rendition works.
