Deerhunter
Indie band no more? While that may be a stretch, it turns out Deerhunter’s influence my stretch a bit further than one might think. Recently, leadman Bradford Cox posted a video of a group of youngsters called Koopa Troop performing Microcastle cut “Nothing Ever Happens.” While creating a cacophony that probably made their less-hip parental chaperons cringe, you’ve got to hand it to the youngsters, they nailed it! Notes Cox on his blog, “This made all of us really happy.”

I respect this American four-piece indie rock group originating from Atlanta, Georgia, they truly are musical genius. It really is inspiring to see kids playing music at such a young age. There are so many benefits that come along when children learn music at an early age. Fine and gross motor skills can be improved through improvisational dancing and handling of educational toy instruments.
