The Vivian Girls are just sharing the joy all around: The Brooklyn-based noise-pop outfit confirmed today extra show dates for their U.S. tour, which kicks off April 5 in Asheville, NC. Although most of their shows throughout April are in support of friends and fellow Bruise Cruise passengers The Black Lips, Vivian Girls will be heading out on their own in May—well, almost. The Girls are teaming up with like-minded female shredders No Joy, the shoegaze duo that’s busy supporting it’s stellar 2010 debut, Ghost Blonde. Together, Vivian Girls and No Joy are sure to knock the wind out of you with their raucous drum beats and wall of thick, hazy sound.

Vivian Girls’ third full-length, Share the Joy, drops April 5 on Polyvinyl. Single “I Heard You Say” is available for MP3 download, accompanied by a fiery Timothy Fiore-drected video.
