Despite a recent interview with The Believer where Radiohead lead man Thom Yorke mysteriously hinted at new ideas for future digital releases, this weekend’s flurry of Internet speculation did not accumulate in the release of Radiohead’s supposed Wall of Ice EP. While the status—or even existence—of the EP is questionable (After fuelling days of conjecture by its very existence, today wallofice.com was altered to read, "Don't just publish bullshit only to get hits on your webpage. Don't just create your own stories after reading one post on a message board. Get your facts straight."), the band did in fact have an announcement to make.

We have new Radiohead! Or rather, conformation of new Radiohead. As confirmed by Johnny Greenwood on the band’s website, last week’s mysterious leak, “These Are My Twisted Words,” that has been making the Internet rounds (including the Under the Radar media section) is in fact, the real McCoy. Says Greenwood, "We've been recording for a while, and this was one of the first we finished. We're pretty pround of it." Wait...you mean there's more? Let the guessing begin.

"These Are My Twisted Words" can be downloaded for free via the band’s official webpage. Free music? Oh those groundbreaking Radiohead kids…what will they think of next?
