Watch: Angel Olsen Shares Mysterious New Video, Might Be For a New Song Entitled “Intern”
Video Has No Title or Context
Angel Olsen has shared a mysterious new video to the YouTube account of her label, Jagjaguwar. Stereogum has done some detective work and says it's a video for a new song entitled "Intern" and is likely from her next album, which may or may not be titled My Woman. Whatever her next album is titled, it'll be the follow-up to 2014's excellent Burn Your Fire For No Witness. The YouTube page says Olsen wrote and directed the video, "with collaborative input from Ashley Connor and Jethro Waters." Connor was the director of photography. The clip finds Olsen singing the song in a silver wig and with a headset on. Watch it below. I have a feeling we'll be doing another news item later today or tomorrow announcing her new album.
