Watch: Anna Calvi Performs at The Tate Museum
When Music and Images Come Together
British guitar slayer Anna Calvi recently took part in a program where musicians perform live at The Tate in London. The songstress picked two pieces from the museum’s collection to respond to with original compositions—“Echo Lake” by Peter Doig, and “A Wreck With Fishing Boats” by JMW Turner. The result sounds a bit like an ambient version of her debut album. Watch below as song and art collide.
