Belle and Sebastian
Belle and Sebastian have released a video for “Perfect Couples,” which can be found on Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, released back in January on Matador. This is an extended near-9-minute-long version of the song. The video was filmed on one set, with a stationary camera and seems to have been shot in one long take. It’s more of a staged modern dance piece and features 1960s-costumed dancers coming in and of the set as part of some kind of retro house party. The production company The Forest of Black originally put it together to accompany the song during the band’s recent tour. It fits the Belle and Sebastian vibe to a T.
