Watch: Björk - “Mutual Core” Video
Also Stream Remix Album bastards
Having already committed to a month-long residency at New York Hall of Science this year, Björk has continued to enlist the forces of academia with her latest bit of Biophilia magic.
Collaborating with the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Los Angeles the Icelandic experimentalist has produced a visually stunning music video for her track "Mutual Core." Directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, the clip features Björk waist deep in sand as elaborately designed rocks demonstrate an accelerated and exaggerated glimpse at tectonic shifts in the earth, providing plenty of heat, pressure and explosions in the process. You can click below to watch.
In addition to the video Björk will soon release a remix album of Biophilia titled bastards. Available Nov. 19 the compilation features contributions from These New Puritans, Death Grips, Hudson Mohawke, Omar Souleyman, and others. The whole thing is available to stream under the music video via The Guardian..
