What’s up, indie kid-targeted marketing? Check out this advertisement for Red Wing Boots that stars none other than Justin Vernon (he of Bon Iver). It does make sense—chances are you need a good pair of boots in the snowy forests of Wisconsin. Although let’s face it, if this were an energy drink commercial instead, we’d probably find a way to rationalize that as well. Watch below as Vernon waxes poetic on his hometown, fixes a truck, and basically looks earthier than any of us will ever be.
