Coinciding with the release of his brand new album Our Love, Caribou has debuted a music video for the record’s title track and lead single. Directed by Ryan Staake and shot on location in Ireland at the beautiful Lough Ine House, the visual follows an elderly woman as she slowly and methodically makes her way around the rooms and outdoor property of a massive mansion. During the course of the stroll a glimpse of her past is shown, capturing the youthful romance between herself and a now absent husband. The whole thing has a tragic undercurrent to it, which is exactly what Staake was attempting to achieve. “I wanted to create a slow, brooding film that contrasted the seeming limitless of youth with the reality of death in later years,” he says in a press release.
