Watch: Caveman - “The State of Mind” Video
Otero War Out Now via Cinematic Music Group
Jul 07, 2016
Caveman
New York’s Caveman released a new album, Otero War, last month via Cinematic Music Group. Now they have shared a video for “The State of Mind.” Joe Baughman directed the strange clip, which is live action, but with some stop-motion aspects. Watch it below. Caveman has also announced some tour dates, which are also below.
Otero War is the follow-up to 2011’s CoCo Beware and 2013’s Caveman. Frontman Matthew Iwanusa took more of the reigns in the creative process this time, but it was still a full band effort. Michael Brauer (Coldplay, My Morning Jacket) mixed the album and Albert Di Fiore produced it. Iwanusa’s father contributed string arrangements. The band has previously shared “Never Going Back,” “Human,” “Life or Just Living,” and “80 West,” as well as a video for “Never Going Back.”
Read Iwanusa’s recent Nocturnal Admittance post for us on his most vivid recurring dream. And read our recent interview with Caveman.
