With a new album already in the works to follow her debut full-length True Romance, UK pop singer Charli XCX, a.k.a. Charlotte Aitchison, has certainly been keeping herself busy of late.
Showing off that not all her time has been spent working on her own material, Aitchison pulled out a new cover during a recent live performance at San Francisco’s Slim’s. Just as she had done with the Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way,” Aitchison delivered an untampered take on the Strangeloves’ 1965 garage-rock hit “I Want Candy.” Click below to watch some fan-captured footage of the performance.
