Canadian electro funk duo Chromeo released a new album, Head Over Heels, back in June via Big Beat/Atlantic. Now the band have stopped by NPR’s offices to perform four songs as a Tiny Desk Concert. For the uninitiated, Tiny Desk Concerts are stripped down sets recorded at the desk of Bob Boilen, the host of NPR’s All Songs Considered. The band performed three Head Over Heels track: “Count Me Out,” “Don’t Sleep,” and “Must’ve Been,” as well as the older song “Jealous (I Ain’t With It).” Watch it below.

A press release says it was their first time performing with a full band and the rhythm section included well-known Philadelphia players Eugene “Man-Man” Roberts, Rashid Williams, Aaron Draper, and Eric Watley.

In fall 2017 Chromeo announced Head Over Heels via a funny one-minute teaser video that featured part of a new song, “Juice.” Then “Juice” was shared in full via a funny video featuring the duo wearing short black skirts and red high heels and in January they shared another song from the album, “Bedroom Calling” (which featured The-Dream). Then they shared a video for another new song from the album, “Must’ve Been,” which featured DRAM, which was followed by “Bad Business.”
