Last year Australian singer/songwriter/guitarist Courtney Barnett released her debut full-length album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, via Mom + Pop and landed at #6 on Under the Radar‘s Top 100 Albums of 2015 list. Now she has shared a video for “Elevator Operator,” which fittingly features Barnett as an elevator operator and features some cool cameos. It starts with Sleater-Kinney lost, sitting on a park bench trying to make heads or tails of a map, when Barnett runs by in her elevator operator uniform, late for work. Once in the elevator the doors open to surprisingly places and people, including Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. Sunny Leunig directed the video, which you can watch below.
