The Black Cab Sessions have been going since 2007. The concept is simple, a musician and a camera crew get in a random London black taxicab and film a brief acoustic session while the taxi cruises around the city. Death Cab for Cutie are the latest passengers, well really just frontman Ben Gibbard. And has there ever been a more aptly named band to do such a session? (Thankfully this cab ride was not as deadly as their moniker suggests.)

Watch over at Stereogum, who premiered it, as Gibbard performs a solo acoustic version of "The Ghosts of Beverly Drive," which can be found on the band's latest album, Kintsugi. Gibbard trades Los Angeles' Beverly Drive for Baker Street or whatever London road the cab is driving down.

Below also are the band's upcoming tour dates. And make sure to pick up Under the Radar's current print magazine to read an interview with Ben Gibbard about Kintsugi.
