Death Cab for Cutie
Delivering their newest album Kintsugi last week, Death Cab for Cutie recently stopped by the offices of NPR where they took part in the radio station’s ongoing Tiny Desk performance series. In addition to playing stripped-down renditions of their new singles “Black Sun” and “No Room in Frame” with nothing more than Ben Gibbard’s voice accompanied by piano and bass, the Seattle band reached back in their catalog of work and also played “Your Heart Is an Empty Room” from Plans and “Passenger Seat” from Transatlanticism.
