Watch: Dev Hynes and Neneh Cherry - “He, She, Me” Video
An Exploration of Agender
Blood Orange's Dev Hynes and Swedish musical artist Neneh Cherry have premiered a brand new collaborative track titled, "He, She, Me." Showcased through a heavily choregraphed video commissioned by the UK department store Selfridge and directed by Alex Turvey and Kathryn Ferguson, the song and visual are meant to explore the idea of Agender.
"The film is an evolving journey through a subtle push and pull between masculinity and femininity, captured entirely in one unbroken shot, utilising in-camera camera effects in a world populated by out-scaled physical props inspired by Faye Toogood's in store realisation of Agender," explain the directors in a press release. "This film has come at a time when important conversations about gender fluidity and non-binary ways of being are finally getting a lot of attention."
