Devendra Banhart
Releasing his newest album Mala earlier this year, singer/songwriter Devendra Banhart has premiered a new music video for album’s included cut “Für Hildegard Von Bingen.” While the song’s title refers to the 12th century Christian saint who experienced visions from God, the music video depicts the titular heroine as a young African American nun seeking an escape from the confines of monastery walls.
