Foals
Last week Foals announced their new album, What Went Down (out August 28 via Warner Music). Now they have shared the intense first single and album title track, “What Went Down,” and its crazy and menacing video. The clip was directed by Niall O’Brien and intercuts footage of the band performing the song in a barren room with an ocean struggle. A woman is pursued in the ocean by two other women intent on drowning her. Meanwhile, a man stands on the beach seemingly watching on while a nasty looking dog runs towards him. Who knows what it all means, but it’s certainly memorable. Check it out below, followed again by the album’s tracklist and the band’s upcoming tour dates.
