Watch Foals Cover “Daffodils” by Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker
Recorded for Australia's Triple J Radio Station, They Also Performed "Mountain At My Gates"
Foals took part in the "Like A Version" series for Australia's Triple J radio station yesterday, where they have artists do exclusive cover songs live on the radio. The British band covered "Daffodils," a song from Mark Ronson's hit fourth album, Uptown Special. The original song features Kevin Parker from Tame Impala on vocals. Not that long ago Ronson and Parker actually performed "Daffodils" on Triple J after doing a cover of Queens of the Stone Age's "I Sat By the Ocean."
Foals also stuck around to perform "Mountain At My Gates," a song taken from their forthcoming new album What Went Down, which is due out August 28 via Warner Music. As we previously reported last night, yesterday the band shared a trailer for Crème Anglaise, which is an album making of documentary that will be included in deluxe editions of What Went Down. Check out the Triple J videos below. Also be sure to pick up Under the Radar's current print issue to read our interview with Foals about What Went Down.
