Anna Calvi was supposed to hit up SXSW earlier this year, but unfortunately, an arm injury forced her to cancel her Austin, Texas performances—including a spot at Under the Radar’s party. If you were psyched to see her down in Austin and then was terribly disappointed by her no-show, this might help you heal: A video of Calvi’s full set at the au Trianon in Paris. Despite being seen through the lens of a video camera, the more than an hour-long performance is unexpectedly intimate—and satisfyingly intoxicating.
