Blast Off!

John Maus
Check out experimental synth-pop maverick John Maus’ second official video for We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves. The sci-fi “Head for the Country” vid starts with Maus watching Robocop at home. He then walks across some frozen fields and blasts off into space via a car and satellite dish. (Huh?) “Believer” director Jennifer Juniper Stratford filmed the clip in Maus’ hometown of Austin, Minnesota.
Pitiless Censors of Ourselves streets June 28th on Ribbon Music. Pre-order the full-length right now on CD and limited edition hand-numbered tip-on LP jackets over here. Maus is touring this summer with fellow Ariel Pink comrades, Puro Instinct.
