Watch: Laura Marling Stars in New Short Film, Featuring Three New Songs

Ahead of the release of her forthcoming album, Short Movie, singer/songwriter Laura Marling has shared a new short film titled Woman Driver. Featuring three new songs, including the Short Movie track “Walk Alone,” the six-minute film stars Marling (who also co-wrote the work) as a hitchhiker who is picked up by a man driving a converted yellow school bus.
Directed by Chris Perkel, the film was a recent entry at the 72-Hour National Film Challenge, and was awarded Best in Genre, Best Actress (Laura Marling) and Best Soundtrack.
