With his last music video earning a Grammy nomination, it’s clear that recording artist Davye Hawk (aka Memory Tapes) knows a good concept when its presented to him. The trend seems to continue with the video for Memory Tapes’ latest single “Trance Sisters,” in which director Vera Todorova condenses George Lucas’ 1971 sci-fi flick THX 1138 into a mere four minute short. Check out the surreal, black-and-white narrative below. Memory Tapes’ latest LP Player Piano is out now.
