Watch: Neil Young and Jimmy Fallon Are “Two Neil Youngs on a Tree Stump”
Jimmy Fallon's Neil Young meets the actual Neil Young
One of the long-running bits on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon is the host doing his spot on impression of Neil Young. Previously, Fallon's version of Young performed with with Bruce Springsteen, Crosby Stills & Nash, and others before performing with the real real deal. Last night, they did it again. It started with the host sitting on a tree stump that was surrounded with a swampy forest scene and a few animals. As the stump began to rotate it was revealed that the real Neil Young was sitting with his back to Fallon's fake Neil Young. They performed a song "Two Neil Youngs on a Tree Stump" while the tree stump rotated. Watch it happen below.
Young is currently promoting his new album EARTH. His other stops have included Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast and "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
