Live at BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge

Queens of the Stone Age
Yesterday Queens of the Stone Age stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge where frontman Josh Homme and his crew performed a cover of Arctic Monkeys’ new AM single “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?” Homme has developed a particularly close relationship with the Sheffield rockers over the past several years, having co-produced the band’s 2011 LP Humbug and welcomed frontman Alex Turner on QOTSA’s new record ...Like Clockwork. The Monkeys returned the favor by having Homme appear on AM. As for the cover, it seemed as though Homme went a bit method for the rendition, singing the song as if were in fact high. Or maybe he was just tired. Click below to watch.
AM is due out next week on Sept. 10 via Domino.
