Run the Jewels (aka El-P and Killer Mike) recently teased their third album, but today they’ve released a new video for Run the Jewels 2 track “Early” (which features Boots). The animated video takes directly from the song’s lyrics, illustrating a black father being arrested by the police in front of his son and the protests that follow (which is timely considering recent events).

El-P tweeted today about the video:

Yesterday El-P posted a 15 second snippet of music to Instagram of a song they are working on for Run the Jewels 3, which likely won’t be out in 2015. Check that out below as well.
