Watch Shamir, Sad13 (Speedy Ortiz’s Sadie Dupuis), and Others Cover The Cranberries’ “Linger”
Fellow Philly Musicians The Dove & The Wolf and Queen of Jeans Also Take Part
Various Philadelphia based musicians have teamed up to cover "Linger," the 1993 hit song by the Irish band The Cranberries. This indie supergroup of sorts includes Shamir, Sad13 (Speedy Ortiz frontwoman Sadie Dupuis), The Dove & The Wolf, and Queen of Jeans. Out of Town Films shot the band doing to the cover in what appears to be a high school gym. Apparently it was the first time any of the musicians had performed together and it was put together via Red Bull Sound Select. Watch it below via Uproxx (and Spin). Watch it below, followed by the video for the original.
Shamir is releasing a new album, Revelations, on November 3 via Father/Daughter Records. He previously shared a video for its first single, "90's Kids."
