Watch: Sondre Lerche – “Lucky Guy” Video
Please is Out Now
Sondre Lerche’s video for Please cut “Lucky Guy” features the band performing a stripped down version of the song, filmed in stark black and white.
“My friend Marius Hauge has photographed me a lot in private and as an artist through the years,” says Lerche of the cut. “He had wanted to capture the portrait in motion and asked to shoot me, my drummer Dave Heilman and my bass player Chris Holm while we performed 'Lucky Guy'. It's the most stripped down (save for Tim Fain's multi-faceted string arrangement and performance) and direct song on Please, and I was very thankful to be able to capture the essence of what was a really charged emotional moment for us on stage every night during last fall's Please tour.”
