Watch: The Chemical Brothers - “Go” (feat. Q-Tip) Video Directed by Michel Gondry
Born in the Echoes Due July 17th via Astralwerks
The Chemical Brothers recently announced their first new studio album in five years, Born in the Echoes, due out July 17th via longtime label Astralwerks. It features some special guests: St. Vincent, Beck, Cate Le Bon, Q-Tip, and Ali Love. Today they have released the video for “Go,” their collaboration with Q-Tip. Michel Gondry directed the video. The French director has an impressive music video resume (including previous Chemical Brothers clips), but has also directed some feature films (including the much loved Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). The “Go” video features seven women dressed in matching black and gray outfits moving around an industrial city area with two long silver poles. If it’d been shot in black & white it would almost have the feel of Fritz Lang’s 1927 German expressionist sci-fi epic Metropolis. Check out the video below, followed by Born in the Echoes’ track-list.
