Watch: The Shins - “The Rifle’s Spiral” Video

After debuting exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS of all places, the music video for The Shins' latest single "The Rifle Spiral" has made its way online for the rest of the non-gaming population to enjoy. Directed by Jamie Caliri, the Port of Morrow cut is used to great effect against the short's stop-motion animation, following a poor but talented magician outsmart a trio of more sinister illusionists. In a interview with Nowness Caliri says he was inspired by the illustrations of Edward Gorey and even Martin Scorsese's Hugo. Click below to watch.
