Watch Tom Cruise Lip Sync The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” on “Fallon”
Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation Out This Friday

Tom Cruise stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (which comes out Friday). He took part in one of Fallon’s Lip Sync Battles, which are usually fun and have spawned their own TV show now too. It was Cruise’s first song choice that makes this somewhat newsworthy; he took on The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” “It’s the song of the summer,” Cruise said, before describing The Weeknd as “enormously talented.”
Fallon then did his best Mick Jagger impersonation, taking on a Rolling Stones song. Then Cruise did the 1977 Meat Loaf song “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” singing both parts of the duet (Meatloaf’s and Ellen Foley’s). Things wrapped up with Cruise and Fallon teaming up to serenade a female audience member with a duet of Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Loving Feelin’.” Watch the whole thing below. The Weeknd was pretty into it, judging by his tweets below.
If Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is half as entertaining as Cruise lip syncing then we should be in for a treat (and the early reviews indicate it’s a blast).
