Watch: Trailer for My Morning Jacket in “Unstaged” Music Series

First, My Morning Jacket got a making-of documentary. Now, MMJ will star in American Express' "Unstaged" music series, a live webcast of the band's upcoming Louisville performance on May 31. The stream will air at 9 p.m. EST and feature Grammy-winning singer Erykah Badu and actress-comedian Rachel Dratch (of SNL fame). Independent writer-director Todd Haynes (I'm Not There) is also on tap to make an appearance—as the show's director. Says MMJ frontman Jim James in a recent statement: "We are incredibly honored that Todd Haynes has agreed to direct this show for us," said lead singer Jim James. "We can't wait to immerse ourselves in his creative vision and masterful take on this live-streamed performance. Fans will certainly be in for a magical and surreal ride."
