Vampire Weekend
Over the weekend Vampire Weekend finally played their well-promoted gig at Roseland Ballroom with actor Steve Buscemi serving as the event’s webcast director. As expected the native New Yorkers treated the hometown crowd to a number of new tunes from their forthcoming third album Modern Vampires of the City, including previously unheard tracks “Obvious Bicycle” and “Everlasting Arms.”
After you click below to listen to the new songs you can also watch the final two promo spots that lead up to the night’s performance, one that captured the events of the previously seen Easter Day Parade as well as Buscemi’s much-discussed Easter Brunch. Modern Vampires of the City arrives May 14 on XL Recordings.
