Wilco
Last night Wilco‘s Jeff Tweedy made a guest appearance on Parks and Recreation, starring as the former frontman of a popular Pawnee band called Land Ho! that is all too relunctant to get the band back together for Miss Leslie Knope’s hopeful Pawnee-Eagleton Unity Concert. Paired alongside Amy Poehler and Chris Pratt for his scenes, Tweedy winds up doing some unsuccessful harmonizing on a song called “Karate Chop Master.”
Tweedy is expected to reprise his role on the season finale airing April 24, which will also feature The Decemberists, Ginuwine, Letters to Cleo, and To La Tengo, the last of whom will play a band called Bobby Knight Ranger—a Night Ranger cover band that wears red sweaters emulating the famous Indiana University basketball coach.
