Weezer released a new album, Pacific Daydream, last Friday via Crush Music/Atlantic. Pixies released a new album, Head Carrier, last year via Pixiesmusic/[PIAS]. Now the two bands are teaming up for a co-headlining tour to go down in the summer of 2018. Tickets go on sale November 10 at 10 a.m. local time. The Wombats will support some of the dates, with more support acts to be announced. Check out all the dates below, along with a video from each artist.

Pixies' Black Francis had this to say in a press release: "We're all big Weezer fans, so we're really looking forward to this summer. We have a lot of respect for Weezer, they're not afraid to take risks with their music."

Back in March Weezer released a new song, "Feels Like Summer," which is also on the album. That was followed by "Mexican Fender," which was shared via a visual featuring a seagull obsessed with a woman in a bathing suit on the beach, and "Beach Boys," which was shared via a visual that paid tribute to the classic 1960s band. They also shared "Weekend Warrior." Plus Weezer stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform "Happy Hour."

Butch Walker produced Pacific Daydream. Weezer's last album, Weezer (aka The White Album), came out in 2016. The new album, their eleventh, was initially intended to be the band's The Black Album until the band realized it was a sunnier record. A press release says the songs are "reveries from a beach at the end of the world."

Head Carrier is Pixies' second album since reuniting in 2004 and is the follow-up to 2014's Indie Cindy, which was more of an EP collection than an album. It is the first album to feature Paz Lenchantin (A Perfect Circle, Zwan, The Entrance Band) as their new permanent bassist.
