Brooklyn psych-soul rockers Yeasayer have signed to Secretly Canadian for the North American release of their much-anticipated sophomore LP. Odd Blood is the follow-up to 2007's All Hour Cymbals (which was released on We Are Free), and it will hopefully blow your mind wide open on February 9, 2010. Mute will release outside of North America. The Odd Blood tracklist is below.
Anand Wilder, Chris Keating, and Ira Wolf Tuton will preview the new tracks at a special gig at New York City's Guggenheim Museum on October 30th. Some special light theatrics are promised. (Most likely Halloween-centric.) The eclectic band will also travel to Austin, TX for the Fun Fun Fun Fest on November 7th.
Also, be sure to check out Yeasayer's new Twitter page for more updates regarding the album, eventual tour, and other surprise treats.
