Yeasayer are releasing their new album, Amen & Goodbye, on April 1 via Mute. Today they have shared a new video in a series of teasers for the record. This one is titled “Amen and Goodbye 6” and it takes you inside the full gatefold album cover, which was created in collaboration with sculptor David Altmejd. The video also features a new song from Amen & Goodbye, but the band hasn’t revealed which song it is. Watch it below.
Amen & Goodbye was recorded to tape at Outlier Inn Studio in upstate New York. Joey Waronker (drummer - Atoms For Peace / Beck) was then brought on board to “deconstruct everything to make the final document.” Previously the band has shared the video for “I Am Chemistry.” The band’s last album was 2012’s slightly underrated Fragrant World.
