Former high-school football star; sociopath ex-girlfriend; new college girlfriend; homecoming weekend. Sound like the all-American experience? Perhaps, except in Homecoming said ex-girlfriend (Mischa Barton) has decided to step into Kathy Bates' role in Misery and cast the current girlfriend (Jessica Stroup) as James Caan. Unfortunately, Barton's rickety delivery, Stroup's shriek-infested performance, and Matt Long's lackluster portrayal as the object of their affection is an affront to the masterpiece they are aping. Homecoming provides one valuable lesson: If your boyfriend drives off, leaving you drunk before you've checked into your motel room, break up with him on the spot.
