When listening to Lily & Madeleine, it’s difficult to believe these sisters from Indiana are still teenagers. It’s easy to hear a ‘60s folk tradition in Lily & Madeleine‘s music, but the difference is that Lily and Madeleine Jurkiewicz’s voices are sweeter, more harmonious, and more polished than most of the popular folk singers from that era. The closest comparison might be Vashti Bunyan. Accompanied by subtle orchestral arrangements, Lily and Madeleine’s voices sparkle throughout, like angels in the ether. (www.lilandmad.com)
