Following last year's tremendous DVD box set tribute to Western director Budd Boetticher, Sony has moved the spotlight to low-budget filmmaker and controversy magnet Samuel Fuller. The Collector's Choice: The Samuel Fuller Collection is a 7-disc completists dream that covers many films that were written by Fuller (It Happened in Hollywood, Adventure in Sahara, Power of the Press, Shockproof, Scandal Sheet) and are being released for the first time on DVD. Also included are two of Fuller's most known works as a director, The Crimson Kimono and Underworld U.S.A. If seven films aren't enough for you, Fuller's family and directors Curtis Hanson, Tim Robbins, Wim Wenders, and Martin Scorsese contribute to several featurettes about the man whose experience as a crime reporter and WWII Army infantryman.
