SXSW 2006

Austin, Texas’ South By Southwest music festival and conference celebrated its 20th year this March. Under the Radar was there to throw it’s first ever SXSW party. We also checked out some of the hundred’s of bands that played over the festival’s five days. Highlights included: Love Is All, Richard Hawley, Kris Kristofferson, Dengue Fever, Metric, The Research, Of Montreal, The Black Angels, Belle & Sebastian, Morrissey, The New Pornographers, Irving, The Lovely Feathers, The Go! Team, and others. We will be printing a full SXSW review in our summer issue, due in late-June, but in the meantime here are some photos from SXSW 2006. All photos by Wendy Lynch.
