The band had previously shared a video for “Mothers of the Sun,” the album’s eight-and-a-half-minute opening track. Now the band has shared an animated video for “Florian Saucer Attack.” Chad VanGaalen animated the bizarre clip, which debuted on Adult Swim’s website last night and will be airing on the channel later this month. It features an alien and a strange planet. More

A sold-out audience packed the floor of Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory on Monday night to catch Black Mountain in support of their new album, Wilderness Heart, out September 14th. Almost two years have passed since the Vancouver band played New York—a long time for a group that was hitting the city three times a year before that. More
