New York indie band Caveman is back later this month with their long-awaited fourth record, Smash. Named after and inspired by frontman Matthew Iwanusa’s late cousin, the band’s latest record is their first since 2016’s Otero War, though we did hear from the band in 2020 with their EP, New Sides. The record is also the band’s first LP released via Fortune Tellers, the new label from The Walkmen’s Peter Matthew Bauer. More

The company behind Coachella, Goldenvoice, are launching a new festival in New York City named Panorama and today the festival’s lineup has been announced. Panorama will go down at Randall’s Island Park in New York City, from July 22-24. The headliners will be LCD Soundsystem (in their first NYC show since their Madison Square Garden farewell concerts five years ago), Arcade Fire, and Kendrick Lamar. More

Scotland’s Frightened Rabbit have announced a new album and shared a new song. Painting of a Panic Attack is due out April 8 via Canvasback Music/Atlantic.
