One of the most anticipated movies and panels presented at Comic-Con 2011 was for The Amazing Spider-Man, the reboot of the Spider-Man franchise to be released in July 2012. The film is directed by the fittingly-named Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) and stars Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone (Easy A) as Gwen Stacy, and Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors/The Lizard.
