Here’s a super-group from the Regan years you never knew you needed (or wanted). 1980s boy band New Kids of the Block have recruited fellow pop stars of the greed-is-good decade for a new collaborative song, “80s Baby,” and a tour together. As well as New Kids on the Block, the song features Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Salt-N-Pepa, and Naughty By Nature. More

Big Black Delta has shared a new song and surprisingly it’s a duet with ‘80s teen pop icon Debbie Gibson. Big Black Delta is the project of Jonathan Bates (formerly of Mellowdrone and also in M83’s live band). Bates was inspired by Gibson’s 1987 hit “Only In My Dreams” and reached out to the singer about dueting on one of his songs. To his surprise, she said yes, and the result is “RCVR.” More
